Integrated Logistics Support
Ferranti Technologies has a dedicated Customer Logistics Support team who play a part in developing an Integrated Logistics Support Plan for our customers at the early stages of product development.
Its aim is to take into account a variety of factors which together contribute to the length of a products lifecycle and indirectly affects the product’s costs and return on investment. Factors such as:
- Reliability
- Maintainability
- Supply of spares
- Manpower requirement for the future
- Training & support requirements
- Technical data and documentation
- Facilities requirements
- Packaging, handling, storage & transportation
- Design Interface
All of these in accordance with various military & aviation standards.
