Ferranti Technologies’ weapon system range from small calibre Overhead Remote Control Weapon Stations to 155mm Artillery Systems. All our systems have been developed from a long heritage of weapon design to ensure that they provide the performance demanded by the user.
Our Overhead Weapon Stations and Unmanned Turrets give mounted troops the ability to deliver effects from under armour thus minimising exposure to enemy fire. Our advanced control systems ensure accurate aiming even when firing on-the-move and built-in Moving Target Tracking systems allow moving targets to be engaged effectively.
Our artillery and mortar systems are designed to provide rapid and accurate response from a range of platform types. Our CARDOM autonomous 120mm mortar systems can be fitted to Light Armoured Vehicles to provide rapid response to calls for fire at ranges that overmatch the likely threats to mounted infantry. Our latest development of this system offers the capability to mount a recoiling, autonomous 120mm mortar onto a 4X4 vehicle extending the ability for organic fire support to a new level.
