Display Night Vision Goggles (DNVG)

The DNVG System is a helmet mounted display, designed to provide enhanced day / night situational awareness and increased survivability for helicopter crews. When combined with the Company's optional head-tracking technology, crew coordination is enhanced and helicopter systems can be slaved to the pilot's line-of-sight.

DNVG is suitable for both utility and attack helicopters. It is in operation on over 5000 helicopters and 25 different platform types worldwide.

Command, Control, Communication and Mission Management System

Ferranti Technologies' HELIC3OM is a next generation, fully digital, integrated Command, Control, Communications and Mission Management System. It has been designed to provide helicopter pilots and crew with data communications and transmissions, as well as accurate, real-time tactical pictures for enhanced situational awareness.

HELIC3OM's advanced Graphical User Interface (GUI) and Digital Map features combine for optimal Mission Management capabilities. The modular system has been designed to grow as needs evolve; from a single helicopter, to formation, to an entire air force. The system is already installed on a wide variety of platforms around the world.

Digital Video Recorders

Ferranti Technologies' DVR is a state-of-the-art airborne synchronised video, audio and data recorder in a solid-state memory cartridge. The compact, lightweight unit enables simultaneous recording of 4 video, 2 audio and data channels on a single cartridge. The DVR is an ideal solution for high capacity recording of multiple video, audio and data sources on fixed and rotary wing aircraft, UAV's and combat vehicles. Based on Commercial-Of-The-Shelf (COTS) components, the DVR complies with stringent military data recording and mission debriefing requirements. It can operate stand-alone or integrate with existing systems as an integral part of upgrade programmes.
